TAHRA College Scholarship

TAHRA proudly awards a $2,000 annual scholarship to a student pursuing a career in Human Resources or Business Management. Eligible applicants include those seeking an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in HR, whether full-time or part-time.

  • Application period: January 1 – April 1

  • Submission requirements: A 500–1,000 word essay outlining your passion for your future career, personal challenges, or unique qualities that set you apart in the field.

Unlike traditional scholarships that focus solely on academic performance, the TAHRA scholarship is awarded based on the strength of the applicant’s essay and extracurricular involvement.

A panel of independent HR professionals will review submissions and conduct finalist interviews in April. The selection process is based on essay content and extracurricular activities, without discrimination based on sex, race, religion, or national origin. Scholarship recipients will be notified in May.
